January 6th was the first of the 2019 calendar year, and the 4th of the season. Unfortunately, a case of pneumonia kept me home for it. I’m almost back to normal, over a week after breathing was exiled from the lungs.
I learned that we got the Opener for our show; a thanks to fellow Euph, Justin, for emailing me a copy of the music so I could blow it up and print it out today at work. We also got some chorale warm-ups. The Color Guard is performing on the Winter Guard circuit, so it was a Brass and Percussion camp. They went over show music and started Visual blocks for the 1st time. Our next camp is on January 20th; I’ve got a little catch-up work to do, between now and then.
