I’m on the bus, on the way home. The bus driver for the #4 – Iroquois Park bus usually drives an All-Electric bus, similar (but larger) to the cover picture for this post.
She was explaining why she no-showed yesterday: the Downtown bus charger wasn’t working, so she had to detour about a mile to another charger, skipping all of the Downtown stops.
She then said that she appreciated my ridership: “you don’t complain if I’m late, you are cool, and you are a faithful rider. We drivers appreciate that!” She even noticed that I didn’t have my monthly pass this time (have not been out of the house, except for work and the grocery store, this week).
