– I dropped my DirecTV Stream service about 2 months ago, and switched back to Roku and antenna. I just wasn’t watching enough TV to justify the monthly cost. Roku and local TV has been fine – mainly watching ‘Forensic Files’, ‘How It’s Made’, and ‘The Universe’, with a smattering of Nature, Nova, and news. I will probably stick with it throughout the summer.
– I’m listening to “The Buried Goddess” series by Rhett C. Bruno and Jaime Castle. It’s a really entertaining series. It focuses on a Knight/Paladin’s redemption story, a Thief and a Mystic (“Mage”)’s stories of self-discovery and possible reunion, and the Goddess that is caiusing all kinds of problems. I’m at the beginning of Book 5 of 6.
– I’ve been struggling with “home and away”. On one hand: I want to get out a lot more and hang out with friends and family; on the other hand, I really want to stay home, play computer games, listen to audio books, and chill. I feel guilty (sometimes), not wanting to leave my apartment. I think I just need a couple of days off – it was a busy month of May.
– Big Bad Breakfast is wonderful! I recommend the “Low Country Skillet”.
– As I continue to fight feet issues, my ability to march on the 17th is in question. I have a spot again with Kentuckiana Marching Pride, a community marching band that celebrates the LGBTQ community (group includes Allies). KMP will march in the Pride Parade on June 17th; I have to wait and see if I can physically get through the first rehearsal on the 8th. We’ll see.
– Speaking of video games: I want to get a game system for the first time in 20+ years. I’m leaning towards the Nintendo Switch.
– NBA Finals: Denver in 5 games. NHL Stanley Cup Finals: Las Vegas in 7.
