I am not a “gamer”, in the sense that I don’t have multiple game systems or send dozens of hours a week on multiple games (World of Warcraft is a notable exception). However, I love to play video games, am working my way towards the ‘gamer’ designation, and would like to work for a video game company in the distant future.

One of the big topics of “The Nexus:’ was ‘Video Games’, specifically, reviews. Here are some of the posts:

1) A recap of my early playings of “Darkest Dungeon”:

2) I listen to an RPG podcast called “Role Playing Public Radio”. This post was from an interview that RPPR founder Ross Peyton had with Red Hook Studio co-founder Chris Bourassa (creator of “Darkest Dungeon”):

3) I have been a WoW player, most of the time, since at least 2006. This post was first thoughts on the latest WoW expansion, “Legion” (Note: I will probably write another piece about “Legion”, now that I’ve had some time to delve deeper in it):

4) My first encounter with the Nintendo Switch, courtesy of J.R. (co-host of “Podicus Wrecks”):

5) About a month ago, to expand my library, I went to Steam and bought 4 games, all under $3 each. Here are the games and first impressions – final impressions will come in as I finish each game:
